JAEA's newest facility, which opened in April 2024 and features conference amenities, is conveniently located near JR Tokai Station (500 m).
Local transportations

By the limousine bus from Narita/Haneda airport: The limousine buses from Narita/Haneda airports listed are much less frequent (two buses per day). Please check the timetables.
By train from Narita/Haneda airport: The limousine bus may not work depending on your arrival time at the airport. In that case, the best way to Tokai is taking the Joban-Line express from Tokyo/Shinagawa station. If arriving at Narita airport, take the Narita Express to Tokyo station and change to the Joban-line express. Not all stop at Tokai; you might need to transfer at Mito (3 stops from Tokai) or Katsuta (2 stops). If arriving at Haneda airport, take the Keikyu-Line to Shinagawa station to take the Joban-Line express.
Accomodation
For your stay during the DENIM XIII meeting, please note that you will need to arrange your own accommodation. While options within Tokai are limited, the neighboring areas of Katsuta and Mito offer a variety of hotels ranging from luxury to budget-friendly choices.
Visa and Entry Requirements
We will assess your need for a visa to enter Japan and will proceed paperworks for your visit to J-PARC, JRR-3, and RANS based on the registration.
