Sponsorship Invitation

We are sending you this invitation letter to let you know about a meeting and to ask for a sponsorship.

13th Design and Engineering for Neutron Instrument Meeting (DENIM) is going to be held in Tokai-mura, Ibaraki pref. from 25th September to 27th September. This is a unique meeting about neutron instrumentsʼ engineering and the base is The International Society of Neutron Instrument Engineers (ISNIE). ISNIE has been registered by 32 groups, 20 countries and 16 companies. DENIM started at ISIS in the UK in 2012 and had been held at neutron instruments facilities in the US, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Australia and Switzerland. JAEA, CROSS, KEK, University of Tokyo, Tohoku University, IPCR will host DENIM XIII together and it will be held in Asia for the first time. Researchers and engineers who are related to neutron experimental facilities around the world participates and they discuss technique and know-how that are needed to develop and maintain facilities. The concrete examples include project management, chopper, guide tube, detector, motion control, shield, vacuum chamber, collimator, slit, monochromator, polarized neutron technique, device remodeling, machine installation, operation and maintenance, safety system and so on.

It is expected that participants from the universities, experimental facilities and companies around the world come to this workshop. We prospect approximate 100 participants.
