Procedures Before You Arrive

If your proposals are approved, complete the administrative procedures through the J-PARC User Support System. A user account should be established in advance. All experiment team members including the PI need to register into the system.

Procedures to Follow Before Visiting J-PARC

2 Consent Form for the MLF User Agreement Submit via the J-PARC User Support System
From 2024A Proposal Round, PIs of accepted proposals are required to submit the Consent Form for MLF User Agreement by two weeks prior to the scheduled first day of the experiment.
Regarding the proposals approved in 2023B Proposal Round or prior to that, submission of the Consent Form is necessary for PIs of proprietary proposals and PIs who are instructed by their host researchers to submit it.
 
If the Consent Form is not submitted by the designated date...

If the Consent Form is not submitted by 2 weeks prior to the scheduled first day of the experiment, the experiment will be cancelled.

1 Letter of Commitment (MLF) Submit via the J-PARC User Support System
For proposals of postgraduate PIs approved in 2023B Proposal Round or prior to that, the PIs and their academic supervisors are required to sign the Letter of Commitment. For the postgraduate PIs of the proposals approved in 2024A Proposal Round and after that, the content of the Letter of Commitment is merged into MLF User Agreement, so the signature to the Letter of Commitment is no longer required.

3 Samples and Reagents Declaration Submit via the J-PARC User Support System  
4 List of Experimental Equipment to be carried into MLF

7 Radiation Worker Registration Form
If you do not send the form two weeks prior to your experiment, the dosimeter may not be ready on the first day of your experiment.

8 Tokai Dormitory Accommodation Reservation Submit via the J-PARC User Support System For members who would like to stay at Tokai Dormitory
- Application to Use the User Facilities Contact your instrument scientist or the Users Office. For members who would like to use facilities
- Reservation for Safety training Reservation is required to attend during outside the Users Office Hours one week prior to your visit.

Upon Your Arrival

Please complete the On-site Safety Training and receive your J-PARC User ID Card and other necessary items at the Users Office before entering the site.
