- How to Use the Bus Service

- KEK Shuttle Bus (KEK Tokai Bldg. #1 ⇔ KEK Tsukuba and Tsukuba Center)
- Please show/carry your official ID (passport or Japanese driving license, etc.) when you board the bus. Please provide your name and affiliation upon request.
- Ride to J-PARC: Stop at KEK Tokai to receive your J-PARC User ID Card at the Users Office, then re-board the bus to ride to J-PARC.
- Ride to KEK Tsukuba/Tsukuba Center: Take the bus from KEK Tokai Bldg. #1 after returning your J-PARC User ID Card to the Users Office.
- KEK Shuttle Bus (on-site shuttle)
- A J-PARC User ID Card is necessary in order to take the bus. Please receive your J-PARC User ID Card before you board.
- A security officer will inspect all passengers' J-PARC User ID Cards at the JAEA main gate before passengers can enter the site.

※As of April 1, 2015, the JAEA Commuter Bus (in the mornings and late afternoons) and J-PARC Shuttle Bus (daytime) is no longer available to users. Please use Tokai Village Local Bus (IBARAKI KOTSU)

Car and Motorcycles
If you visit J-PARC by private car, rental car, company car or motorbike, you will need a "Vehicle Permission Pass." Please refer to the Application form to visit J-PARC (User ID card) to apply for the pass.
